Create a spreadsheet (Google Sheets is recommended) to store your leads. A well-organized sheet will keep your data clean and usable.
Suggested Columns
- Industry
- Business Name*
- Contact Person
- City & State
- Time Zone (💡Tip: You can determine time zone by the state. Example: Texas → Central Time, New York → Eastern Time).
- Website
- Email 1*
- Email 2 (if available)
- Phone 1
- Phone 2 (if available)
- Lead Status (new, contacted, interested, etc.)
- Google Maps Link
- Facebook Profile Link (if available)
- Instagram Profile Link (if available)
Pro Tip: If Google Maps does not list an email, visit the business website. Most companies publish a contact page or team email address.
