Unit 4: Structure of an Instagram DM
Every Instagram DM should be casual, short, and human, following this 4-part structure:
- First Line Hook – Create curiosity or relevance.
- Example: “Quick note about your team in Austin 👋”
- Personalized Hook (1 sentence) – Mention something specific.
- Example: “Noticed [Company Name] shares great project photos — looks impressive!”
- Value Proposition (1–2 short sentences) – Explain how you can help.
- Example: “We help local businesses stand out with high-quality branded uniforms — comfortable, professional, and durable.”
- Call to Action (CTA) – Keep it soft.
- Example: “Would you like me to prepare a free mockup with your logo?”
