Unit 1: Overview
Newly created accounts are considered “cold.” If you start sending sales emails or direct messages right away, platforms like Google may flag you as suspicious. This can result in email delivery issues, temporary restrictions, or even permanent bans.
The process of warming up accounts is about building trust and showing Google that your account is used by a real person. For 10–14 days, you should treat each new Gmail as if it were a personal account — casually sending and receiving emails, browsing, and engaging with Google services.
By warming up accounts properly, you:
- Build a positive sender reputation.
- Avoid landing in spam folders.
- Reduce the risk of bans or blocks.
- Prepare accounts for safe, long-term outreach.
